We’ve been having a lively conversation thread on the Seatweaving and Wicker Repair Discussion Board Forum lately, trying to deside how this rush seatweaving design was created and what materials were used.
Examine the pictures above and if you can venture any guesses we’d really appreciate it. So far, no one on the Forum knows how to execute the weave, nor have any of us ever done it, but we speculate that the materials are paper fibre rush on the one chair and possibly corn shucks on the others.
