Do you have a problem getting those egg, melon, buttocks or antler baskets to sit flat enough so they don’t tip over or rock?
Well, here’s my solution–wet the basket down thoroughly, then fill the basket with heavy canned goods, bricks, pop cans or anything else you can think of so it will sit as you’d like. Then let the basket sit over night to dry in place.

Hi Iann,
I use mostly #6 round reed for the spokes on my antler baskets. But if they are really small baskets or wall hangings, I will go to the smaller gauge #4 or #5.
