Here are some pictures of that pesky Italian blind cane chair I spoke about on the Seatweaving and Wicker Repair Discussion Board the other day. I’m managing to get off the rubbery glue and staples used on the underside of the seat, but it’s a slow process! Notice the different and unusual design in the double blind cane back–it’s similar to the Victorian weave the English used frequently. Thank goodness that’s still in great shape and not in need of reweaving!
