Welcome to the latest two additions to the Seatweaving section of the Furniture Repair Directory on WickerWoman.com!
Karen Scott Caning & Basketry is listed in Duncan, Oklahoma, specializing in all types of chair caning to include blind caning. She also does Shaker tape and natural veneer weaving along with a bit of wicker furniture repair and minor structural repairs. Karen also teaches chair caning and basketweaving classes, so contact her soon to make an appointment.
Yesterday’s Treasures, owned by Allene Hooper of Frewsburg, New York, learned her seatweaving craft while working for an antique appraiser/refinisher/restorer. Her specialities are all types of chair caning, paper and natural pre-twisted rush, Danish cord, splint and Shaker tape. She also does regluing and repair.
Be sure to check out Yesterday’s Treasures New York ad in the Furniture Repair Directory-Wicker section too. Karen’s really handy at repairing broken and battered paper wicker, rattan and reed wicker furniture, too!
