San Diego, CA — The California Indian Basketweavers Association will have its 15th annual gathering at the Pala Indian Reservation. This intertribal nonprofit organization has more than 800 members, who preserve and promote California Indian basket weaving traditions. Weavers from all over the state will give demonstrations and participate in discussions during the event.
The gathering is planned for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 25 and 9 a.m. to noon June 26 at the Pala reservation on state Route 76. For more information, call (760) 746-8692.
