Here’s a lovely poem a very near and dear friend sent me after the recent passing of my husband and soul mate:
ASCENSION
Know that I live on, vibrating to a different measure
–behind a thick veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me, so you must have faith.
I wait for the time when we can soar together again,
–both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest.
And when you need me,
Just whisper my name in your heart,
…I will be there.
Hi Cathryn… wanted to drop a note to say Eric and I are both thinking about you during this sad time. We cannot imagine what it would be like to lose a lifelong partner. Life is so hard at times.

I’ve been very poor at reading blogs these days and was shocked to see here that your husband had passed. I am so deeply sorry. I have tears in my eyes as I write this and I went back and read your post about him and how you met. Please know you and your family are in my prayers. God is great and may you continue to lean on Him during this time. I am so, so very sorry.
